Shaw\u2019s eyes dampened. \u201cYou\u2013you\u2019ve saved our lives,\u201d he blurted. \u201cPshaw, Shaw,\u201d said Mitty, grinning his lopsided grin. \u201cIt\u2019s all in ta-pocketa-pocketa\u2026<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The copy from the Spring 1988 catalog for the Walter Mitty Shirt is not taken directly from the James Thurber story “The Secret Life of Walter Mitty” but is a clever play on the ta-pocketa-pocketa<\/em> wording in the story to sell a shirt with super cool secret pockets. This cotton twill shirt has hidden pockets with snap closures behind the front pockets, with underarm gussets with small \u2018button holes\u2019 for ventilation.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
