FAKE: Odd Small Pocket Shirt

Another FAKE! From eBay March 2021 comes this terribly odd shirt that has been identified as a knock-off. While the tag looks correct as an early one, it’s sewn in an unusual way, and the very small single pocket is incredibly odd.

I asked Patricia Ziegler about it and she said: “You’ve developed a great eye for all this, Robyn! We never would have put such a ridiculously small pocket on a shirt! Odd proportions like this can happen when a designer doesn’t take care to grade up every aspect of a garment proportional to the size. It looks like the label is sewed on in an unusual over-stitched way too.”
