Save-The-Crocodile Bag
From Spring 1988: “Like crocodile tears, our snappy little bag is not, we’re pleased to report, the genuine article. Instead, we’ve borrowed the croc’s toothsome texture to stamp on our own unendangered leather. So while crocodiles struggle worldwide to save their numbers (and their hides!) we appeal to consumers of conscience to bag a bit of artful artifice instead.”
