Correspondent’s Dress

The Correspondent’s Dress is the fair companion to the Correspondent’s Jacket, made of the same material and possessing the same details. The belted dress came in Ivory and Pewter and is easily distinguished from the Safari Dress by its angled lower pockets.

From the catalogue: “She won’t reveal her sources, but her dress speaks for her: a woman of integrity, one who does not cut her conscience to fit this year’s fashions. Her elegance is reflected in this thoroughbred dress-a champion that can be taken everywhere but can never be taken lightly. The substantial cotton twill supplies both protection from cold and authority over squirmy spokesmen; and its brushed on the inside (she appreciates a soft touch, being one at heart). Waistline darts, shoulder pads, and deep pleats in the back show her respect for fine constructions. A dress for getting to know the general or covering a coup, with pockets deep enough to hold major scoops.”
